QUICK TURNAROUND AT CAMBRIDGE PLACE
Robinson Layer has negotiated an off-market deal that has allowed two companies sharing a single building to meet their future requirements.
First floor occupiers of the Cambridge Place building, accountants UHY Hacker Young, needed more space and have now taken the whole of the building totalling some 1350 sq ft, with ground floor tenant insolvency practitioners McTear Williams & Wood relocating to Cambourne.
Mark Robinson said: “UHY Hacker Young has added to the 573 sq ft they already occupy and this suited the ground floor tenant, who was looking to move out of the city. Located off Hills Road, Cambridge Place is a popular city centre location. We negotiated a surrender of the vacating tenant’s lease and simultaneously re-let to this regional firm of accountants.
“The landlord was happy too to have a single tenant at an enhanced rent, so everybody involved in the deal achieved their objectives” he added.
UHY Hacker Young has offices in Letchworth, Royston, Cambridge and Huntingdon, and supports a range of businesses and individuals with their finances. As a member of the UHY Hacker Young group, it can draw on an even greater pool of skills and experience.
