NEWMARKET LOSES LEADING SCIENTIFIC FIRM TO ELY
Stratech Scientific is moving to Cambridgeshire Business Park, Ely, from its current location in Acorn Business Centre, Newmarket.
Since its creation 34 years ago, Stratech has grown to become one of the UK’s largest independent distributors of life science reagents. They are moving to Ely before the end of 2017, with the aim of beginning the new year from their new premises.
Mark Robinson of the letting agents, Robinson Layer, said: “We have had a busy year on Cambridgeshire Business Park, handling most of the vacant properties there. Stratech are taking 4,600 sq ft in Cambridge House, which is a striking building on a prominent corner location, on a 10 year lease at £72,500 per annum exclusive.”
Stratech’s Managing Director, Sue Hallett, said: “Stratech has achieved double digit growth year on year for the past four years. To facilitate future growth, Stratech required new premises with additional capacity to accommodate our growing business. We are delighted to be moving to Ely with its easy access to Cambridge and convenient location”.
