AWARD WINNING PUBLISHING FIRM TAKES 5,000 SQ FT AT CAMBRIDGE TECHNOPARK

An award-winning editorial, design and digital agency specialising in contract publishing and content marketing for businesses and membership bodies, CPL is experiencing significant growth, according to chairman Mark Rosselli.

He said: “Turnover has almost doubled in the last few years and that growth has meant more people working here. When we moved into our current premises opposite Cambridge Retail Park in 2003, we were 18 strong, but by the end of last year we had 40 people on the payroll, and the building was bursting at the seams.”

Mark Robinson of the agents Robinson Layer, who handled the letting, said: “This building has been vacant for a long time and was the former offices of the Town Crier newspaper group which was absorbed into the publishers of the Cambridge News.

“Because of a complicated hierarchy of leases and subleases, four firms of solicitors were involved in the transaction, so getting the agreement over the line was more of a challenge than usual!”

Mark is now marketing CPL’s former offices at 275 and 277 Newmarket Road which total 1,620 and 550 sq ft respectively. They can be taken individually or as a whole.
